Welcome to Story Creek!

Please review the following information regarding the beginning of the school year. Back to School Night can be a bit of a whirlwind for both families and staff. Staff are not yet familiar with students and parents want to share important information about their children which is difficult at a meet and greet. If you need to share important information with your child’s teacher, please feel free to reach out to set up a time where you can have a meaningful conversation.

• Kindergarten Meet and Greet

  • August 20 - 4:00-5:30

  • Please come to the playground to meet the kindergarten staff and to then tour the school.

• School Start dates

  • School starts 8/26 for grade 1-4.

  • Kindergarten orientation is 8/26. Information is in the process of being sent out to the kindergarten families explaining what that will entail.

  • Kindergarten start date is 8/27

  • EL4 year old program has orientation August 26-27. EL4 starts August 31.

  • Pre-K with Mrs. Mooney starts August 31.

• Start times

  • 7:45 - Playground opens for drop off. Please do not drop off your child before then as there will be no adult supervision on the playground. No Parents on the playground before school.

  • 8:05 - Students enter the building through designated doors. Teachers will be outside with signs to greet students on the first few days of school.

    • Kindergarten- door 11s

    • 1st-2nd- door 14s

    • 3rd-4th- door 8s

  • 8:10 - 4th Grade Tardy Bell

  • 8:15 - K-3 Tardy Bell

• End Time

  • 3:15 M-Th

  • 2:15 Fridays

• Teacher Assignments - The parent portal through Infinite Campus will be available for your viewing on August 21st by 4pm. You can log in and see who your child has for a teacher. Click here for teacher assignments

• Back to School Night is August 24th from 6:00-7:00

• Breakfast/Lunch Info
